  2. Hi. Cute dog. Is it spikes he has in hes mouth?

    • Nope. Porcupine quills… Both my goldens have gotten “porcced”. Two times each I think. It is almost impossible to get them out because each one needs to be plied out and the dog just can’t go through that much handling of its jaw area without freaking out. We were on our way to a vet here. They had to put him under to get the quills out.. to the tune of a $200.00 bill. It has been a few years since either one has been attacked by a porcupine. I cross my fingers we never have that experience again. Can you see the quills on his tongue and the roof of his mouth?
